Chief Executive Officer & Medical Director

Dr. Noah Kaufman is a board-certified emergency physician with 23 years of frontline clinical experience across emergency departments, critical access hospitals, rural facilities, and flight medicine programs. After a personal journey through the healthcare system as a patient changed his perspective on care, he founded KaufCare — built on a simple question: what would healthcare look like if it were designed around patients instead of billing systems?

Steve R. Krebs, MD

Internal Medicine Physician

Dr. Steve R. Krebs is a Colorado native, having graduated from Wheat Ridge High School before attending Colorado State University. He completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in Norfolk, Virginia, and has held ABIM board certification for more than 30 continuous years. Outside the clinic, Dr. Krebs is a devoted father of three daughters and grandfather to seven, and enjoys hiking, sailing, and biking in the mountains with his wife, Kerry.

Director of Integrative Psychotherapy & Lead Physician's Assistant

Matthew Battaglia, PA-C, spent many years practicing in the emergency department alongside Dr. Noah Kaufman in high-acuity clinical settings. As Director of Integrative Medicine, he brings deep frontline experience, clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach. He has specialized training in psychotherapy and leads KaufCare's innovative plant medicine and therapeutic wellness programs.

Danielle Romero ensures every patient experience at KaufCare is seamless, efficient, and genuinely cared for — from the first interaction to follow-up. With over seven years of experience as a medical assistant and clinical supervisor, she brings clinical knowledge, operational excellence, and compassionate communication to the front lines of patient care every single day.

Trang "Tea" Nguyen

Medical Assistant

Trang "Tea" Nguyen is a dedicated medical assistant and military veteran serving as a Staff Sergeant in the Colorado Air National Guard, where she is training in an EMT role. With over five years of experience in patient intake, scheduling, and medical records, she is known for her precision, professionalism, and compassionate care. Fluent in Vietnamese, Tea helps bridge communication gaps and creates a welcoming experience for every patient.

Joseph Richmond

Patient Coordinator

Joseph Richmond brings experience in healthcare administration, patient consultation, and coordination to KaufCare. Prior to joining the team, Joseph worked in a fast-paced plastic surgery practice, where he guided patients through consultations, discussed treatment options and costs, and helped create a welcoming and professional patient experience. At KaufCare, Joseph is passionate about making patients feel comfortable and cared for while supporting the clinical team and ensuring an efficient, compassionate experience throughout their visit.

Executive Producer & Head of Digital Strategy

Aaron Arslan is the creative force behind our practice's online presence. He directs, produces, and manages our comprehensive digital strategy from the ground up. By taking high-level medical concepts and transforming them into dynamic, accessible video content, Aaron ensures our patients have premium educational resources at their fingertips year-round. If you are watching a video, reading a post, or engaging with our practice's online media, Aaron is the one who brought it to life.
